Do you like quizzes? Great…but don’t play them on Facebook
Have you noticed that many Facebook quizzes ask questions like “what was your first car?”, “What’s the name of your favorite pet?”, “How many places have you lived?”? These might sound fun as you compare your answers with friends and family, but you are also sharing this information with potential identity thieves. Many of the questions on these quizzes are the same questions asked to validate password resets and account logins. In fact, many quizzes are authored by people trying to build a profile for identity theft. Protect your identity and never disclose personal identifying information on a public website.
